We live in a throw-away world, one we are leaving for our children and grandchildren to inherit. The sad part is that most of what we discard without a thought can be recycled, repurposed, and renewed.
"Recyclable" demonstrates the frivolity of the legacy we are creating. It is estimated that by 2050 plastics in the ocean will outweigh marine life, lions and most wildlife will be gone, and all arable land for agriculture will disappear.
But as long as we look good on Facebook and Twitter, it will be okay.
